FS Mencap was designed for and in consultation with a group of people who have a learning disability. Mencap has teamed up with leading font designer, Jason Smith, to create a font which is easier to read but still stylish to look at. Via Typophile. Edit: James Windsor also informs us of a font designed for dyslexics, Read Regular, by Dutch designer Natascha Frensch.
